Bernina Magnifier Set

Bernina has the perfect solution for anyone suffering from the effects of mature eyesight or someone who simply just needs to see a close up view of the project they are working on. This is especially useful when working with fine intricate work such as heirloom, embroidery, fine appliqu� or difficult materials or where you are working with black on black. It can even come in very handy for fine reverse sewing (unpicking) that may be needed from time to time.

What ever the reason, the Bernina Magnifier set offers the best solution by supplying you with a set of three interchangeable lenses, each having a different strength thus allowing you to select the one appropriate for the job. These lenses can be easily attached to the sewing machine by the use of a special bracket.

The magnifier mounting bracket can be installed on Bernina activa, virtuosa and artista models which are not already equipped with this part. A bracket and installing instructions comes with the magnifier set but we suggest that you have the bracket installed by an authorized Bernina dealer.

The magnifier is quick and easy to use; remove the small round grey protective cover from the end of the bracket and attach the lens to the machine by simply loosening and tightening a thumbscrew using your fingers. No need for screw drivers or any other special tools. The three lenses also double as hand-held magnifying glasses when attached to the special holder that come with the magnifier set, this makes it useful for small hand held projects and reading.

Baraque Foldaway Cutting Table & Sew Tall Xtension

The Baraque Foldaway Cutting Table is a handy full-sized cutting table made from heavy duty corrugated cardboard. It comes packaged in a flat storage carton in three easy-to-assemble foldaway pieces. It is a great space saver and can be stored under the bed or behind the sewing room door, when not in use.

The table assembles to a comfortable working height for the average height person of 88cm and for taller people there is now the option of SEW TALL Xtensions to raise the table another 28cm (or.11in).

The table top is printed with an easy-to-read grid that helps with fabric layout, cutting and pattern alterations. This creates an instant workplace for sewing, quilting or craft needs and is exceptionally handy for pattern making and pattern alteration.

The set of Xtensions are slotted and will slip onto the original Baraque Cutting Table legs. This will give you 28cms extra height.

If however this is now too high for you then you can gradually increase the depth of the Xtension slots by small, even increments, all the way around the Xtensions, until you get the height that is most comfortable for you.
